Ingredients:
- Tomatoes – 250gms
- Onions – 2
- Green Chilies – 3
- Salt to Taste
- Curry Leaves – Few
- Oil – 4tsps
- Black Gram – 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1tsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1tsp
- Turmeric Powder – Little
- Red Chili Powder – To Taste
- Coriander Powder - 1 1/2tsp
- Coriander leaves for Garnishing
Preparations:
Wash and cut the tomatoes in to small pieces.And the onions cut them in to small pieces.
Method:
Heat a pan and add oil to it.When oil is hot add Mustard Seeds,Black Gram,Cumin Seeds and fry.Now add onions,green chilli,curry leaves,coriander leaves and fry.Now add turmeric powder, salt,chilli powder and fry till they turn golden in color.Now add the tomatoes and mix well.Cover and cook till tomatoes are soft.It takes for 8 minutes to be cooked.Now add Coriander Powder and cook 2 minutes.Now transfer this to a serving bowl and garnish with the coriander and serve hot.Then serve with Rice,chapati,rothi.
