How To preparation Potato Curry



Aloo curry recipe


Ingredients:

  •     Potatoes – 150gms
  •     Onion – 2 (medium)
  •     Tomatoes - 2 (medium)
  •     Ginger Chilli Paste – 1 1/2tsp
  •     Curry leaves – Few
  •     Salt To Taste
  •     Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
  •     Black Gram – 1/2tsp
  •     Mustard Seeds – 1/2tsp
  •     Cumin Seeds – 1/2tsp
  •     turmeric powder - little
  •     Oil – 3tsps
  •     coriander leaves - Few

Preparations:


              
First wash the potatoes and take them in bowl add water and cook the potatoes for  15 minutes.Then remove the peel of potatoes and cut it into small cubs.peel the onion skin and cut it into small pieces



Method:

            
Heat the kadai/pan and add  oil to it.When oil is hot add  Mustard,cumin seeds,black gram and fry. Now add the curry leaves and chilli,ginger paste and fry well.Now add onion pieces and fry.Add turmeric powder,chilli powder and salt.Mix well.Then add the cooked potatoes and cook for7-8 minutes Now add coriander leaves and mix.Transfer curry in to bowl and garnish with coriander.Then serve hot with plain Rice, poori, Paratha,Roti,Masal Dosa,Chapathi....
